Paths, patios, new borders and planting

The brief was to design a garden for a newly renovated pretty pink cottage which was to be used as a holiday rental. The client wanted new planting areas, a wild meadow, an orchard and some paths and seating areas appropriate for the house.

Cottage garden borders were designed, with a pastel colour pallette, and low maintenance (and performing) plant combinations. We created a new patio which wrapped around the house on the south facing side and east facing side (for morning coffee), separated by an area of perennial planting.
